Meet our Staff

Michelle Greenwood

Program Coordinator

Michelle is a UC Merced alumna who graduated with the founding class in 2009. After many years of persistence and multiple community colleges, she continued her course work at UC Merced. After receiving her Bachelors and completing her PhD in Cognitive & Information Science in 2015, Michelle spent some time on staff as a lecturer on campus. UC Merced has become home to her and she looks forward to helping other transfer and returning students achieve their educational goals and dreams by referring them to resources on campus but most of all by inspiring them that it’s possible through her own story. Michelle loves this job because she is also inspired by the stories she gets to hear of each scholar.
